Saturday, as part of the national social program "Ede Pèp", the Office of the Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister, responsible for the promotion of the peasantry, distributed as part of the second phase of the program "Kore peyizan" 1,000 kits of agricultural inputs and fishing equipment (500 kits of agricultural seed and 500 fishing kits), to the peasants growers and small fishers of Port-de-Paix.

This activity that falls within the framework of boosting domestic production, has been welcomed by local authorities and the population, who believe that the seeds of improved beans, arrived in good time and will allow them to plant for this winter campaign and help in other hand, the small fishermen vulnerable to become independent.

Sunday, 300 kits of bean seeds were also distributed in the Municipality of Chansolme (municipality of the Department of Northwest). The peasants delighted took the opportunity to thank the Government for its willingness to assist the peasants through the Minister Responsible for the promotion of the peasantry, Marie Mimose Felix.

Recall that this distribution campaign of agricultural kits and fishing equipment, falls within the framework of the program of social assistance "Kore peyizan" which includes "Kore plantè", "kore Pechè", "kore pwodiktè myèl" and "Kore elvè".

More than 30 municipalities will be affected for this winter season
