Wednesday, the First Lady of the Republic, Sophia Martelly, accompanied by her children, Sandro, Yani, and Malaika went to Boucan-Carré, municipality in the department of the Centre, and Délices, 5th communal section of Arcahaie where, in a very friendly atmosphere, she distributed toys and food kits to thousands of children, youth and adults gathered in large number in the circumstances.

The children enjoyed this moment of sharing with the First Lady of the Republic, which in a maternal impulse, shared with the smallest of these two localities toys but also affection.

Joy shone on the faces of these children, who had mostly never experienced such attention for Christmas. They highly praised the First Lady, that they thanked for these marks of love, care and solidarity.

Thousands of adults each received a hot meal and food kits. On all faces, it was the same expression of appreciation and gratitude to the First Lady and the Martelly Administration. "We will never forget this gesture. See a First Lady visit us in Délices, at the occasion of Christmas, bring toys to our children and bring us all these gifts is like a dream," exclaimed, Suzette, 32, mother of three children, whose each of them held firmly their toy.

Christmas 2013 placed under the sign of sharing, harmony, concord and conviviality by the Presidential Couple, is an opportunity for the Head of State, his wife and their children, to showing love to their fellow of both the capital and the most remote areas of the country.
