Haiti - Politic : MOPOD want the resignation of the government and general elections !

Monday, agronomist Jean André Victor (Liberal Party of Haiti, PLH), General Coordinator of the "Patriotic Movement of the Democratic Opposition" (MOPOD), which brings together the main opposition parties : OPL, INITE, RDNP, PLH, PROP, Ayisyen pou Ayiti, KID, Ansanm Nou Fo, gave a negative assessment of the Administration Martelly/Lamothe "The record of this government is disastrous. He failed on all points," and announced the renewed mobilization to force the President Martelly and his team to leave power.

According to Jean André Victor, "MOPOD position has not changed. We demanded the implementation of elections in 2013 and the resignation of President Michel Martelly and as the elections will not take place this year, we ask the departure of the team Martelly/Lamothe."

For his part, Deputy Serge Jean Louis (Platform Libération), which also requires the departure of President Martelly declared "We will intensify the mobilization for he leave from January 2014. Thereafter, we will hold general elections."

Note that member parties of MOPOD, which conditioned their participation in elections to the publication of electoral law (finally published December 10, 2013 in the Official Journal "Le Moniteur") have so far refused to register in the next election... https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-9777-haiti-elections-deadline-for-registration-extended-the-opposition-stick-on-its-positions.html
