Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin, the Minister of Tourism, who presents its wishes of end of year, made a positive assessment of the tourism sector in 2103, which thanks to the many activities of the Ministry and the constant and tireless efforts of our Minister, allowed Haiti to regain its place in the choice of international destinations. The opening of new hotels of international class, the construction of numerous infrastructure and site development across the country, Haiti's participation in international events, the establishment of a tourist police are among other things, that augurs a year 2014 even better for the image of our country, for the destination and for our economy.

Message of Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin :

"In this end of 2013, I want to take the time to thank everyone for your unconditional support, your messages and comments. It is not always easy to interact personally with each of you, but believe that your reactions to the activities I have undertaken on behalf of the Ministry of Tourism does not go unnoticed.

On behalf of the Government, I add my voice to those of the Directorate General, the Departmental Directors and staff of the Ministry of Tourism, to wish you all happy holidays and a happy new year 2014 in health, joy, peace and harmony.

May you can keep that fire that animates you, which makes of you this unique people and so full of life. May you continue to support us in our daily efforts to promote our tourism. Haiti is a beautiful country ! We must invite others to come and experience the Alma Mater !
