Thanks to its commitment to social for several years, the First Lady of the Republic of Haiti, Ms. Sophia Martelly, who is committed to contribute to the improvement of living conditions of the vulnerable population has just completed a tour across the country on the theme "Listening, Looking, Understanding and Act" whose objective was to inquire of real needs of the poorest layers, especially in the backcountry.

During this tour started in March, which led her in 136 communes and 28 municipal sections of Haiti, First Lady met with residents and took the opportunity to facilitate the achievement of certain development projects and gather citizen complaints.

This initiative has also allowed her to observe the great achievements in these municipalities mostly with ongoing construction works.

The report of this national tour was sent to the Office of President of the Republic to follow up with various ministries and Directorates General concerned.
