Sunday, the 2nd Edition of the International Marathon Let's Go Haiti organized in partnership with the Ministries of Tourism and Youth and Sports, was a success.

Several countries, including the United States, Canada, Turkey Islands (Turck and Caicos Islands) participated in this Marathon whose objectives were to promote Haiti internationally, to educate Haitians on importance of athletics prove to the world that Haiti was a place where international athletes could come running without any worry.

About fifty athletes coming among other from Haiti, the United States, Canada, Islands Turck and Caicos Islands have participated in this Marathon 42 km (departing from Terrier Rouge, arrived on the boulevard of Cap-Haitien)

5th Frédeline Solomon [13,200 Gourdes]

"Their victory is the result of perseverance, discipline and determination," said the coach, Gérard Cassamajor at the delivery of premiums. "I want to congratulate and thank the organizers of the marathon that creates sports tourism in the destination," said Ms. Dieudonne Luma Etienne, Northern Regional Director of the Ministry of Tourism, adding, addressing the participants "The road to success is never easy, but one must have the courage to go through to achieve your goals."
