It is under the theme "Let's make of Haiti a Republic of Entrepreneurs", that the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) participated Friday in the first day of the 2nd edition of the Entrepreneur Fair [of 24 to 26 January], organized by the Groupe Croissance in partnership with Synergies, in the premises of the University Quiqueya in Turgeau.

This fair aims to strengthen the private business sector and encourage Haitian entrepreneurs to invest in sectors of economic growth.

During their interventions, executives of various directorates of Ministry have presented to students, academics, entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs, multiple innovations underway in the Ministry.

Participants were able to learn about : the registration formalities of companies by the Directorate General of Taxes (DGI) ; the Process of granting of the franchise, by the Directorate of Tax Inspection (DIF) ; the benefits of Single Account of Treasury and Treasury bonds, by the Directorate General of Treasury (MEF) ; the macroeconomic prospects and the budget of the State, by the Directorate of Economic Studies (DEE) and the Directorate General of Budget (DGB) and the Haitian tax system, by the Directorate of Economic Studies (DEE / SAPF)
