As part of its mission of territorial development, as enshrined in the 2010-2015 Operational Plan, the Ministry of Education has taken all the arrangements for the Public University in Region (UPR) cover the entire country (except the Department of the West where the State University of Haiti (UEH) occupies the majority of needs)

To this end, the Ministry is preparing to introduce two new UPR in the regions of Grand Anse and Nippes. Which will bring to 8 the number of UPR in Haiti.

In a circular, the Government informs via the Ministry of Education that a new Regional University "Public University of Nippes" (UPN) will open Thursday, March 6, 2014 in this department.

To this end, the Ministry invites all young people who have completed their secondary course, to enroll in this new University. The program offered at the moment concerns the Education Sciences.

Registration will be done at various Offices of School District (BDS) or in Miragoâne, Anse-à-Veau and Baradères and at the Fundamental School of Application- Pedagogical Support Centre (EFACAP) of Asile.

Registration Deadline: February 7, 2014.

Documents required for registration :

1. Certificate of completion of secondary education;

2. Original and copy of birth certificate;

3. Two passport photos;

4. Medical certificate;

5. Certificate of good conduct;

6. Copy of Tax Identification Number (NIF).

Registration fee: 500 gourdes.

The entrance exam be held in Miragoâne Thursday, February 13, 2014 in these disciplines: Mathematics, French and general knowledge. The top 120 candidates from 11 communes of the department, will be retained..
