After having visited the Members of the Haitian Community, the Official Delegation of Haiti composed of the Ministry of Haitians Living Abroad, Immigration Services, National Archives, ONI and Diplomatic Advisor of the Primature, accompanied by Alex Jospitre, the Consul General of the Republic of Haiti in Suriname had an important meeting with Surinamese officials, of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Justice, and Public Safety and Immigration Services.

Besides the fruitful exchanges that have characterized this meeting, the Haitian Official Delegation was delighted to note the efforts the Surinamese Government put into the process of regularization of our undocumented Compatriots while the Surinamese Officials were pleased to learn about the additional assistance that will soon be added to the Consulate’s for an even more effective and adapted response to the needs of our Brothers and Sisters living abroad in terms of documentation.
