Haiti - NOTICE : U.S. Embassy changed its exchange rate, fee increase

As part of its periodic review of the exchange rate in effect following the recent fluctuations in the exchange rate, the U.S. Embassy in Haiti, announces that as from Monday, 17 February 2014, the exchange rate for visa processing fees will rise from 44.00 to 46.00 Haitian Gourdes to 1.00 U.S. dollar.

The Embassy undertakes a periodic review of prevailing exchange rates and adjusts the rate when necessary. As a result of the new rate, the visa processing fee for tourist, business, crew member, student, transit, and exchange visitor visas will be 7,360 Gourdes.

The fee for petition-based nonimmigrant visas will be 8,740 Gourdes.

The fee for fiancée visas will be 11,040 Gourdes.
