Monday, when the brigade of streets of the town hall, accompanied by some PNH officers attached to the services of the institution led an operation in order to force merchants to clear the sidewalks and streets to facilitate the movement of pedestrians and the vehicles, a group of individuals who pretend to be merchants, attacked the offices of the Town Hall of Petion-ville around 5:00 pm.

Throwing stones and bottles were thrown at the staff of the Institution, of parked vehicles and on the windows of the town hall.

Four of these individuals were arrested by the police [photo thumbnail] for banditry and disturbing public order, said an inspector from the Police Station of Pétion-Ville.
