Saturday, as part of celebrations of the day of the Haitian woman, Sandra Honoré, the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Haiti accompanied by Ms. Yanick Mézile, Minister for Women and Women's Rights (MCFDF), will officially open the exhibition of Women Producers, on the St-Pierre square in Petion-ville.

At the initiative of the United Nations (MINUSTAH and the United Nations country team) in collaboration with the MCFDF, this fair aims to promote the products of forty women entrepreneurs involved in small businesses (crafts, woodworking, food production, fashion, beauty) from neighborhoods and vulnerable communities.

This event also aims at promoting women police officers and their place in the recruitment process of the National Police of Haiti (PNH), through stands of awareness and on-site presence of women officers of the PNH, with the support of their counterparts of the UN police (UNPOL).

The organizers invite the public to come in number visit this Fair Women Producers, Saturday starting at 10:00 am.
