Haiti - Tourism : Towards better food services to the Raymond-les-Bains Beach

Thirsday, Dithny Joan Raton, the Departmental Director of Tourism South East accompanied by Ms. Carine Beauvoir, cabinet member of the Minister of Tourism and Creative industries met the mayor of Cayes-Jacmel, Jean Roda Pierre and Frantz Hendrick Cajuste, commercial inspector of the company Total Haiti to study the feasibility of installing stoves propane gas for food merchants of the Raymond-les-Bains Beach, recently fitted https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-9633-haiti-tourism-new-space-for-the-merchants-of-raymond-les-bains.html (20 kiosks, toilet blocks, parking, signage, fencing, water fountain, installation of benches, solar panels, shops and bars on the beach...) The use of propane gas will reduce the environmental impact of restoration activities.

In the tourism sector, the beaches are an important resource. However, beyond their natural attractions, residents and visitors wishing to find many other services such as showers, outlets drinks and food, rescue stations, development of the area etc...) it is to meet these expectations, that the Ministry of Tourism proceeded to the development of the beach Raymond-les-Bains.
