Please note that registration for the 39th edition of the contest of the Literary Award Henri Deschamps 2014 (Prix littéraire Henri Deschamps 2014), which aims to honor and encourage writing, in order to expand the circle of new Haitian authors are open until June 1, 2014.

In addition to the certificate and the 150,000 gourdes, the winner will be invited in 2014 by writer Rodney St Eloi to participate in the Book Fair of Montreal. La Maison Henri Deschamps will be the exclusive publisher of the winning work, which will remain the intellectual property of the author. In addition, the winner will receive promotional support during the 12 months following the publication of his book.

This contest is open to all Haitians, whether aspiring writer, French and / or Creole-speaking residents in the country or abroad, provided that the submitted manuscript has never been published previously. The number of pages of the manuscript is at the discretion of the author.

No later than June 1, 2014, 4 copies of the manuscript on paper (recto sheet, 8 ½ * 11 or A4 format, Word file, character size 14, double-spaced) must be submitted by the author, at the headquarters of Lucienne Deschamps Foundation, 49 rue de Chavannes, 3rd Floor, Petionville, Haiti.
