Wednesday, President Michel Martelly accompanied by Philippe Cinéas, State Secretary for Public Works, Pierre André Laguerre, Director General of the National Airport Authority (AAN) and his Counsel Gregory Mayard-Paul, paid a visit to Toussaint Louverture International Airport, to assess the rehabilitation work in progress since the summer of 2012.

The Head of State has traveled the departure hall and arrival, and visited among others the infirmary fully rehabilitated, the conference room, the new departure lounge under construction, new booths, control rooms...

President Martelly, also met with the staff of the institution as well as passengers, the main beneficiaries of this important work, which welcomed the great transformation made within the airport that now displays a new face.

The Head of State while asking the Directorate General of the AAN to ensure the effectiveness of services to the population and to ensure proper maintenance of the building, has promised to continue its efforts to bring Haiti into modernity.
