Haiti - FLASH : Very serious road accident in Saint-Marc

Saturday afternoon, at the northern exit of Saint-Marc occurred a frontal collision between an all-terrain vehicle, which was heading towards Upper Artibonite, in which was the Deputy of L’Estère, Jules Lionel Anélus, his driver and a security guard and a tap-tap carrying thirty passenger.

Under the impact of extreme violence, 13 people were killed on the spot, including 6 women. Judge Thielot Catilus, who made the minutes counted 13 died on the spot whose a 2-months baby and her mother who were in the front of one of two vehicles.

17 other people were injured, including 14 very seriously. The Deputy Jules Lionel Anélus (wounded in the chest), his driver and security guard who lost an eye in the accident, were among the wounded.
