Haiti - Elections : The EU says it does not want to interfere in the Haitian elections

Javier Niño Perez, Ambassador of the European Union (EU) in Haiti reiterated this week during a press conference in Petionville, the financial support from the EU amounting to 5 million euros for the next elections "our determination is on a technical and financial point of view [...] It is not part of an approach, which seeks to impose or suggest solutions, which should be determined only by Haitians."

Javier Nino Perez said support efforts to consolidate democracy in Haiti, for inclusive elections, credible and transparent, emphasizing the role of the international community, whose role is limited to that of facilitator and of accompaniment...
