The Fund of Economic and Social Assistance (FAES), informs the students registered in the subsidy program "Kore Etidyan" that they will receive in the coming days their allocation concerning the 3rd, 4th and 5th installments of the year 2013-2014 (November to March) for a total of 10,000 gourdes.

In addition, 2,872 students have already received their laptop in regional faculties of Port-au-Prince and Gonaïves. Note that students who have applied for "Laptop-Option plus" [choose between the subsidy or laptop computer HP 255], will not receive any message. The students concerned must go to their respective faculty dean, to know the date on which their laptop will be delivered. Those responsible for the "Laptop-Option plus" informs that the delivery of laptops will resume in August.

Recall that the conditional cash transfer program "Kore Etidyan" [subsidy 18,000 gourdes / year] was launched in December 2012, in order to encourage and support university students in their regular expenses related to their studies who are enrolled in public higher education institutions.

Put in place under the National Social Assistance Programme, "Ede pèp" by the administration Martelly-Lamothe, "Kore Etidyan" now has more than 30,000 students from 34 institutions in 9 departments of the country.
