Haiti - Insecurity : Assassination of Manouchka Louis Brice

Frantz Lerebours, spokesman for the Haitian National Police (PNH) announced that Manouchka Louis Brice, the wife of the departmental director of Western National Police (DDO), the Divisional Commissioner Ralph Stanley Brice, had been assassinated on the route de Frères, by unidentified individuals Friday night while returning to his home in his car. Seriously injured victim was rushed to hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.

The Spokesperson of the PNH, declared that the investigators of the scientific police proceeded until late in the night to statements of indices in order to leading the investigation and to find the murderers.

The National Network for the Defence of Human Rights (Réseau national de défense des droits humains RNDDH) strongly condemned this assassination, deploring another victim of insecurity, at the time the criminal acts do not cease increasing. The population for its part, deplored the lack of police presence to ensure their safety.
