In the continuity of "Kalfou Richès Peyi dAyiti" program and as part of a project to encourage artistic creation through mentoring young talents evolving in precarious neighborhoods, Marie Carmelle Rose Anne Auguste, Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister, in charge of Human Rights and the Fight Against Extreme Poverty, proceeded this week at the opening of a painting workshop in Pacot, for twenty painters living in various popular neighborhoods of Port-au-Prince.

Through this initiative, the Office of the Minister, wants to encourage artistic creation through mentoring young talent from the neighborhoods of Cité Soleil, Martissant, Fort National, Carrefour-Feuilles, etc... This is the famous painter Richard Barbot, who will host this 20-day training workshop that will allow these young people to improve their creations.

The Minister Rose Anne Auguste welcomed the launch of the workshop, noting that this initiative is a continuation of the "Kalfou Richès Peyi dAyiti" program initiated in 2012 by his Bureau, in order to lead the producers of wealth to take responsibility face the extreme poverty in many poor neighborhoods of country.
