The Directorate General of Electricity of Haiti (EDH) apologizes to its customers in particular and the population, for the blackout occurred on Tuesday morning in the metropolitan area at 1:15 am after an electrical problem recorded in the Central Péligre.

EDH wishes to announce that the gradual restoration of electricity was performed to 9:27 am this Tuesday, September 2, to allow its customers to enjoy properly the electricity. It would also like to apologize for any inconveniencecaused by this unwanted power outage.

EDH wishes to emphasize that since 1:45 pm the hydro power plant of Péligre was back in operation.
