Haiti - Politic : Demonstration in Petit-Goâve and threats against our correspondent

Thursday the local chapters of the opposition protested through the streets of Petit-Goâve under heavy escort of the National Police of Haiti and Minustah, brandishing a red card and throwing slogans against the Mayor Sandra Jules and the Deputy Jacques Stevenson Thimoléon.

The protesters demanded the revocation of the mayor of Petit-Goâve, whom they accuse of misappropriation of public funds and said they will continue their protest movement until the departure of Mrs. Jules.

Protesters including young intellectuals and teachers very angry, made ​​threats, front of the premises of radio Préférence FM, against our correspondent in Petit-Goâve, the reporter Guyto Mathieu, also CEO of the radio station.
