Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe, has learned with dismay the news of a traffic accident https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-12017-haiti-flash-serious-accident-in-morne-tapion-23-victims.html occurred Tuesday, September 9 on the National Road #2 up to Morne Tapion in which 23 passengers were killed and 37 others wounded.

The head of government ordered the opening of an investigation to determine the causes of this accident.

Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe expresses its condolences to the families and friends of the victims.

That same Tuesday, in Clercine, Tabarre, a container truck collided with a public transport vehicle, making 7 casualties and and 5 injuries.
