With the financial support of the Interamerican Development Bank (IDB), one of the international institutions, which supports the implementation of the reform of the state, Uder Antoine, the General Coordinator of the Office of Management and Resources human (OMRH), at the head of a delegation composed of Pierre Erold Etienne, Director General of the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), Maggy C. Belin, Coordinator of the Control unit to the OMRH, Pierre Joseph, Director of the Central Archives and Marie Alex Vixamar participated this week in the Dominican Republic to a 3-day workshop.

This workshop focused on the implementation of the program of "Mutual Collaboration of the Management and Reform of the Haitian Public Service of the OMRH and the Ministry of Public Administration (MPA) of the he Dominican Republic," allowed to understand what constituted and how to apply the monitoring systems used in the Dominican public administration, finance and the industry and trade.

Discussions include the implementation of the management system of civil servants (Sistema de Administración de Servidores Públicos - SASP), of the Monitoring System of the Public Administration (Sistema de Monitoreo de la Administración Pública - SISMAP) and of System of human resource management.

At the end of the workshop it was agreed that the Dominican Government, work with Haiti in the implementation of a number of tools, measures and policies for the reform and modernization of the Haitian Public Administration.

During this visit, which is part of the perspective of sharing experiences, knowledge and management tools between the two countries, Mr. Antoine met with the Minister of Public Administration Dominican, Ramon Ventura Camejo, accompanied by some members of his team.

As part of the binational cooperation in term of eform, the Minister Camejo will be travel to Haiti by the end of this year.
