On Thursday, hundreds of people took part in Petit Goâve, to the 10th day of protest organized by the Joint Liberation Front amputated now of Group of David Sincére, another branch of the democratic opposition, which was separated from the movement. The protesters have openly displayed their hostility to David Sincére whom he accused of treason and received a large sum of money to boycott the movement. Recall that David Sincère denounced on Radio Préférence FM, the violent demonstrations but also the deviation of the primary objectives of the movement.

"Now we put ourselves in front of the Government Martelly-Lamothe... Sandra Jules is almost no longer our problem. Our problem is Martelly and Laurent Lamothe [...] That the President Martelly leave if he not organizes, by the end of the year, the elections," explained some very angry demonstrators while others claiming of OPOD, required to hold early general elections in the country [...]

In addition, the protesters said that "schools will never work in Petit-Goâve, as the Mayor Sandra Jules remain in office "Sandra or Martelly, it is necessary that one of them go away," chanted the demonstrators. Stones were thrown early in the morning against the college Yves R. Lamartine, sowing panic among students, a violent action, forcing as a precautionary measure, some school heads to release students early...

At around 1:00 pm, demonstrators forced the driver of a bus transit from Port-au-Prince to stop and put his car in the middle of National Road #2 to block the road, until the rapid response officers of the Corps of Intervention and Maintenance of Order (CIMO) who fired tear gas to disperse the demonstrators, who did not fail to throw stones at the security forces.

Moreover, the journalist Anel Joseph, a correspondent for Radio Caraibes FM, was threatened by a protester, who accused him of working for the Deputy Thimoléon and not spread the news about the activities of local opposition.

A day very different from that of yesterday where opposition supporters demonstrating for the 9th day, accusing the President Martelly and Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe, to condone the excesses of the municipal administration, managed to pass without difficulty before the prosecution of Petit-Goâve and close to the town hall of the city where CIMO officers and soldiers of the Minustah stood guard. CIMO officers asked the demonstrators to continue their way to the Liberty Avenue and not sticking around City Hall. Movement leaders then urged the crowd to obey the instructions of the authorities and no stone has been launched against the security forces.
