Since the beginning of the year, Digicel had not hidden its interest to bring to women's football, a collaboration similar to that which it gives to the 1st men's division football. It is now done since last Friday, a historic day for women's football in Haiti for the first time in history, this discipline will benefit from the contribution of a sponsor.

Maarten Boute, President of Digicel signed an official contract of 4 years. All D1 women's football clubs and youth football players attended the ceremony that morning.

In summary, according to the terms of the contract, Digicel will bring to the club $50.000 annually with quarterly payments and will finance the purchase of two sets of uniforms, trophies, medals and diplomas. There will be, contrary to what is done with the men's football, at the end of the season, the anniversary cup of women's football with a $10,000 bonus that will be shared between the first three that come up on the podium. Other advantages in equipment and phone credit are also envisaged within the framework of this partnership.
