Haiti - Diplomacy : 4 new Ambassadors accredited

Thursday at the National Palace, the President Michel Martelly, received the credentials of four new Ambassadors accredited in Haiti. These are Paula Cadwell (Canada), Roberto Garcia Marquez (Colombia), Khamis Al-Sahouti (Qatar) and Jerobeam Shaanika (Namibia)

These new Ambassadors reiterated the commitment of their respective countries to accompany the President Martelly in his efforts to improve the living conditions of the Haitian people.

For his part, the President of the Republic assured them of his willingness to work to strengthen the ties of friendship and cooperation between Haiti and their country.

After this ceremony, the four new ambassadors respectively made a ​​floral offerings at the Musée du Panthéon National Haïtien (MUPANAH), following the floral tribute in honor of the Founding Fathers, the ambassadors were invited to visit the exhibition halls of MUPANAH where is being held until November 14, the exhibition "Henry Christophe : vision and grandeur of a King" that reveals the man through a meticulous arrangement of objects, historical documents, his vision on education and its many accomplishments that make him a king builder.

This visit also allowed them to discover, through the museum's collections, culture and highlights of the history of Haiti.
