Haiti - Politic : President Martelly criticizes the opposition

On Saturday, as part of the 11th edition of the "Gouvènman an Lakay ou" program, President Michel Martelly front of thousands of Cotiferrois, did not fail to criticize the opposition, which continues to multiply attacks against the Government without never propose anything constructive.

"What is the saddest in the country, this is when a person does not agree with a President in power, these people just want to throw you out, but these people do not say what they will do better than the incumbent President [...] it is not enough to ask my departure, as if it were a game. Everyone is aware of the great changes that my team and I were able to bring the country in just three years.

Throughout the day these people are on the radio, on television, saying Martelly is not good, the country is corrupt, Martelly must go [...] But it is not enough to say that Martelly must go, it is necessary to say what Martelly has not done and what these people will do better or in what these people have done better in the past.

[...] Or it is necessary to say : that you do not agree with the free school, disagree with free transport for students, not agree with all vocational centers, which are made across the country to enable children to become someone tomorrow, so that they have money in their pockets. You must say that you disagree with that.

[...] Do not just sit to say that there is corruption, it's us who are fighting against corruption.

[...] Since my campaign, I said I would come to make a change [...] there are people who understand that the free school, it is like saying that all things are free, this is not true. The school is free yes, but we pay the schools, electricity, teachers, children's food... we pay, it mean that things are not really free [...] now I'm going to ask the people a question, all the money I pay to get free things for you, where it was before ? Where was this money for so long ?"
