Haiti - Politic : The CSPN continues the professionalization of the PNH

The Superior Council of the National Police (CSPN) just set up a commission to revise the special status of the National Police of Haiti (PNH).

The Commission's mission is to strengthen the regulatory framework governing the management of human resources within the National Police in order to promote personal and professional development of its staff. This provision,

intended to define a career path for staff of the PNH, demonstrates the Government's commitment to continue to professionalize the police force.

Members of the Commission :

The Inspector General Chief Ralph Stanley Jean Brice, (President);

The Inspector General Joseph Gaspard Hyppolite, (Vice-President);

The divisional commissioner Francène Moreau (member);

Ludwig Anglade, (member);

Main commissioner Frantz Lerebours (member and rapporteur);

A representative of the Office of the Secretary of State for Public Security (member);

A representative of Minustah (member).
