Saturday, President Michel Martelly, has completed his European tour with a meeting with the Haitian community in France, in Aubervilliers (northern suburbs, near Paris) at the Eiffel Dock, where hundreds of our countrymen had come to welcome him in a very warm atmosphere.

The President of the Republic, thanked once again the Haitian diaspora for his crucial support in the implementation of the Universal Schooling Program Free and Compulsory (PSUGO) "The Haiti for which I fight is a Haiti where all his son feel good. It's a Haiti that inspires our compatriots living despite them abroad, to return at home. I remain convinced that education plays an important role. Hence my commitment to enable all our children to have free access to education," declared President Martelly in a packed audience and under applause.

In addition, the Head of State has focused on the various social programs initiated by his administration and justified them by its desire to support the most vulnerable, until they can become economically viable.

Very satisfied with the visit, the participants did notfailed of praise on the President Martelly, that they described as "progressive leader".

This meeting with the Haitian community, ended the European agenda of the President who performed this week an official visit to Germany and France and met in particular German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President François Hollande.
