Haiti - Elections : 4 Americans of Haitian origin elected to the USA

François Guillaume II, the Minister of Haitians Living Abroad (MHAVE) presents its congratulations on behalf of the Administration of the Government Martelly and Lamothe to the elected Americans of Haitian origin, who were elected in various important positions in the US administration in the last election, Tuesday, November 4, 2014 :

At the first Haitian-American elected to the US Congress, Ms. Mia Love for the 4th District of Utah

At the first Haitian-American elected to the Assembly in New York, Ms. Rodneyse Bichotte

To New Attorney General elected of Washington DC, Karl Racine

To New Mayor of North Miami elected Dr. Joseph Smith

The Minister take this opportunity to congratulate the achievements of the diaspora wherever it is and also relies on these "qualified human resources to enforce the Louverturiennes characteristics of a welcoming people, proud and capable. This wealth demonstrates once more of the speech as repeated by our President Michel Joseph Martelly : "This country that is ours is too rich to be poor."

"On behalf of the Administration and the Government that I represent I say that we are proud of all of you, we wish you good luck in your new responsibilities. Know that you can always rely on your country for whatever support you need."
