Monday in Ouanaminthe, protesters continued to require the connection of the city to the grid of Caracol. In addition to social upheaval of extreme violence, a group of people threw stones at the Dominican Consulate. The Vice-Consul Marciano Mateo Espinosa told reporters that, for security reasons, Consulate staff had been evacuated and repatriated in Dominican territory.
