Haiti - Politic : No Christmas truce for MOPOD, 7 demonstrations announced

Tuesday, before responding to the invitation of the US Ambassador, Pamela White, https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-12644-haiti-politic-the-government-condemns-threats-against-ambassador-of-the-united-states.html the "Patriotic Movement for Democratic Opposition" (MOPOD) sweeping the Government's efforts to find a solution to the pre-electoral crisis, announced a new series of anti-government protests with the usual claims including the departure of the Martelly-Lamothe administration.

The first two demonstrations on 5 and 6 December 2014 must complete the 5 front of the Embassy of France and the 6 to the Canadian Embassy to ask both countries to stop giving their support to the current government. Other demonstrations are also planned on 12, 13, 16 and 18 December.

According MOPOD, negotiations are done on the concrete and not around a table...
