Haiti - Politic : A further step in the modernization of the administration

Tuesday, December 9, at the Hotel Karibe Convention Center, the Government through the Office of Management and Human Resources (OMRH) will officially launch the Administrative Information Centre (CRA).

Recall that the CRA, a computerized system for all citizens as users of public services, also serves as a gateway to ministries and public organizations, and provides general administrative information on these institutions to citizens who request it (by phone, Internet or in person at the service counters), on the administrative circuits to borrow for any service, as well as the estimated costs of services sought.

The Information Centre, is part of the state's modernization effort undertaken by the government and responds to the continuous improvement of the relations between citizens and the Haitian government for the establishment and strengthening of the democracy. It will help strengthen governance, to the fight against corruption, to increase the efficiency and transparency of administrative structures and promote administrative decentralization.

As part of the commissioning of the CRA the OMRH benefited from the technical support of GENINOV Group, a Canadian consulting engineering firm with a subsidiary in Haiti since 2009. The firm was selected through a tender International, for its expertise in information technology.

This system, announced in late December 2013 https://www.haitilibre.com/article-10198-haiti-politique-reforme-de-l-etat-bilan-2013-et-perspectives-2014.html (in french), supported by OMRH, responsible for driving the implementation of all actions undertaken in the context of state reform is supported by the Ministry of Economy and Finances and funded by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).
