The Grenadières (the Haitian Women Senior National Selection), train in Brazil since early September in preparation for the qualifiers for the 2011 World Cup to be held in Cancun in Mexico from October 26 to November 8, 2010.

During this phase of training our national team will have the opportunity to face during friendly match, several women's teams high professional level. During the first match that took place at Joao Havelange Stadium, Friday, September 24, 2010, our players have faced the Botafogo. No winners or losers in this first encounter that ended (0-0). The Grenadières will face during the next 2 games the women's teams Flamengo and Vasco da Gama.

Before the final match, of this preparatory phase the playoffs for the world cup 2011, trainings are planned in Teresopolis [because of the altitude - 880 meters], in the center of training in altitude of the Brazilian national selections. At the end of these trainings, our Haitian team will face the Brazilian national selection of Marta and Daniela on October 21st. A match which will be played on the ground of the center of training of the Brazilian selection [Almirante Heleno Nunes] with Teresopolis a city located at the North-East of Petrópolis.

Our national team will turn over then to the federal University of Vicosa to make the last developments and corrections of play, before the big trip to the playoffs for the 2011 World Cup to be held in Cancun on October 26 next. Playoff where our Haitian team dream to qualify to be present at the 2011 World Cup to be held in Germany from June 26 to July 17, 2011.
