In a note signed by Jean Vernet Henry, Rector of the State University of Haiti (UEH) dated March 16, informs that the Executive of the University condemns the kidnapping attempt whose has been the subject, Mgr Pierre André Pierre, Rector of the University of Notre Dame d'Haiti (UNDH).

"The Executive Council of the State University of Haiti (UEH) has learned with dismay the kidnapping attempt whose has been the subject the Rector of the University of Notre Dame d'Haiti (UNDH), Mgr Pierre André Pierre, on the evening of Friday, March 13, 2015.

The UEH Executive Council unreservedly condemns condemn this infamous act. He asks his colleague of the to believe in his solidarity at this difficult time.
