Friday at midnight, in the Annex Electoral Council (CEP) on the road of Frères, ended the registration period for parties and political groupings. Around 8:00 pm 187 known and unknown political organizations were already listed, even those who had always refused publicly to participate in elections under the Government Martelly.

Thus, in the afternoon, Assad Volcy and the former Senator Moïse Jean-Charles proceeded to the registration of their radical platform "Pitit Desalin". Subsequently Mirlande Manigat, founder of the "Patriotic Movement for Democratic Opposition" (MOPOD), bringing together parties of the radical opposition, accompanied by the former mayor of Petionville, Claire Lydie Parent, proceeded to the inscription of MOPOD.

However, the list of registered must be confirmed by the CEP, the lawyers of the Electoral Council carry out an analysis and compliance of documents submitted in order to publish, in principle Tuesday, the final list of political parties and groups allowed to participate in the upcoming elections.
