Haiti - Elections : The Casimir Minister requires the neutrality and impartiality of the Justice

Tuesday, Pierre-Richard Casimir, the Minister of Justice and Public Security, accompanied by his Chief of Staff, Dr. Jean Claudy Pierre and Me. Jean Roudy Aly, Director General of Ministry met for several hours every government commissioners of the various courts in the country.

"On the occasion of next election, you must be neutral and impartial ! It's very very important. This is what have asked me to tell you, the President of the Republic and the Prime Minister," declared the Minister Casimir to the Commissioners.

He asked them not to be influenced by any political current in the exercise of their functions, noting that so far 5 circular had been sent to the various prosecutors of the Republic, including one regarding the terms for the issuing of certificates of good conduct and certificates of residence, two documents in great demand by candidates in the upcoming elections. He particularly emphasized to ensure that the Commissioners with the judges of Peace, that all these documents are issued in strict compliance with the law.
