Haiti - Basketball : After a severe defeat, Haiti won 2 victories
Haiti participated in the XIII Central American and Caribbean University Games who stand for the third time in its history in Santo Domingo, capital of the Dominican Republic. These games involved more than 1,000 athletes competing in 11 disciplines began on October 1st and end on October 10. Haiti is present in two sports: Basketball and Taek-won-do

Basketball:

Sunday, October 3rd - LOSS
Haiti - Dominican Republic (41-101)
Bad day for the Haitian team that has suffered a serious setback against the Dominican team (41-101) for his first match despite everything the effort of the winger Makinzi Saint-Hubin alias Gorille, who proved to be the best player on the Haitian side with 22 points and 9 rebounds.

Haiti - Salvador (64-52)
For its second match in the tournament Basketball, Haiti beat El Salvador (64-52).
