Me André Michel request the exclusion of Laurent Lamothe

Me André Michel the presidential candidate of the radical opposition platform "JISTIS" welcomes the issuance of an unfavorable report by the Superior Court of Auditors and Administrative Disputes (CSCCA) on the discharge demand of the former Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe, for its management of the Ministry of Planning https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-14011-haiti-flash-laurent-lamothe-counter-attack.html He believes that after this decision, Laurent Lamothe must be rejected unconditionally of the race by the Departmental Electoral Office of Litigation.

Moïse wants a change in the electoral timetable

Former Senator Jean Charles Moise, presidential candidate (Platform Pitit Dessalin) is totally in tune with the statements of the Special Adviser to the US State Department for Haiti Thomas Adams which show in favor of a modification of the electoral timetable. Moïse asks the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) to change the electoral timetable and suggested that the first round of the partial legislative and presidential are organized on 25 October 2015. The second round as well as municipal and local on 27 December 2015.

11,709 candidates in territorial elections

Frantz Bernadin, the spokesman of the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) reported that for local authorities, 11,709 candidates had already deposited their documents : 2,346 for municipal, 4,224 for the Boards of Directors of the Communal Sections (ASEC), 3,929 for the Boards of Communal Sections (CASEC) and 1,210 for city delegates.

Sit-in in front of the CEP in favor of Lamothe

On Wednesday, supporters of Laurent Lamothe, organized a sit-in outside the headquarters of the CEP to warn against any idea of rejecting his candidacy. Demonstrators points to certain sectors which would exert pressure on the Electoral Council says that there can not have election without Laurent Lamothe.
