Haiti - Sports : Things are moving everywhere with the Minister Albert !

Basketball Evening at Gymnasium Vincent

Friday, Jimmy Albert, the Minister of Youth, Sports and Civic Action (MJSAC) and Jean Max Saint-Albin, the Director General of MJSAC attended the Basketball Evening at Gymnasium Vincent.

The Columbia University basketball teams (USA), IHECE, TNT, ASHBAC assured the show to the delight of lovers of the orange ball.

While taking place in Port-au-Prince the final of the contest of awareness against violence among young people and the gala match Selection ASHBAC/Basketball Team of the Columbia University, the Gymnasium of Cap received the 2nd round of the finals of the Inter-school Basketball Championship of the North Department. Victory 88-84 of the Nelson Mandela Institute at the expense of the Institute Mixte Jean Renel (1 match everywhere).

Weekend of Young

Saturday at the Gymnasium of Cap, over 2,000 young people participated in the launch of Weekend of Young in the North. The Minister Albert has invited young people to come together and adopt the message of the anthem of Youth "Kenbe Tet nou ! Kraze bet nou ! Kwe nan tet nou". Young people from different neighborhoods gathered in a sports atmosphere and relaxation. The Minister Albert offered itself a ping pong match and a fight of judo with his Director Saint-Albin.

Launching of the Youth fair at Cap-Haitien

Saturday, Jimmy Albert also visited the auditorium of the "Marie auxiliatrice" of the Vincent Foundation, in Cap Haitien within the framework of launch of the Youth fair. This fair is a development space, to encourage young people to develop other forms of thought and promote better understanding of each other by constructive exchanges.

Note that these are the champions of the competitions held in different regions by the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Civic Action.
