Haiti - NOTICE : Haïti Chérie Group opened the account of solidarity

The Haïti Chérie Group informs the public that it opened the account of solidarity for the reception and integration of returnees and deportees with an initial contribution of one million gourdes https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-14269-icihaiti-social-the-private-sector-created-a-citizen-solidarity-fund-for-returnees.html

This is the Account Gourdes (HTG) 9002-0280866 to the SOGEBANK whose name is "Fondation Haïti Chérie (Fonds de Solidarité aux Déportés et rapatriés de la République dominicaine)".

The Haïti Chérie Group also encourages Haitians living abroad to demonstrate their solidarity with their compatriots experienced by this event by transfers of funds on the US Account, as follows :

The Haïti Chérie Group specifies that as soon as the balance of deposits will reach one million gourdes, members of the Group will add another million gourdes. The funds will be fully donated to the Haitian Red Cross as part of their support at the reception of the deported and repatriated.

Also note that the Haitian government proceeded Monday at the emergency humanitarian aid distribution to more than a thousand people returned voluntarily to Haiti, including food kits, hygiene kits, prelates, mattresses and blankets. These operations took place in Pascado and to Tête-à-l'Eau, (in the commune of Anse-à-Pitres), to Bocbanique and to Biassou (in the commune of Thomassique), to Loscacaos and to Ti Lori, (in the commune of Cerca la Source), located in the border area with the Dominican Republic.

Other distributions took place in Belladère (in the Centre department) in the presence of Victor Benoit, the Minister of Social Affairs, who took the opportunity during a working session to distribute a stock registration forms to representatives of the National Migration Office (NMO) as well as local officials.
