Ballot impossible to falsify

According to members of the CEP there is "no chance to falsify or reproduce the ballots," according to them, these ballots use a high-tech security never used in Haiti in an election.

Training of 5,256 Electoral Security Agents

The Provisional Electoral Council informs the general public and the 5,256 Electoral Security Agents in particular, that training sessions for the ASE will be held on Monday 3 and Tuesday, August 4, 2015, from 8 hrs am, in all departments. For the West Department (Ouest I and II), these sessions will be held at the Police Academy in Frères, while for the other departments, they will be held in the "chefs lieux".

The elections of August 9 in figures

Friday in a press conference, Pierre-Louis Opont, President of the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) in order to reassure the 5,848,000 voters on the general list on the smooth running of elections, indicated that on August 9 from 6:00 am 41.175 members of polling stations will be deployed in 13,725 polling stations located in 1,508 voting centers. Adding that the Vote Tabulation Centre is already operational and ready to receive all of the minutes after the voting.

Delivery of sensitive materials to voting centers

The ASE will be deployed in the voting centers from 6 August, when the CEP will begin to route sensitive materials in voting centers.
