In downtown and in the communal sections of Petit-Goâve, people begin to vote. However, several incidents

some violent have been reported:

At the polling station of Grand-fond (8th and 10th sections of Palmes), a supervisor shook violently an representative of political party;

In the voting center of 7th, we need police to maintain order;

At the Lycée Faustin Soulouque, individuals have prevented women from voting by exercising strong pressure on her;

Agitation and disorder are reported to the voting center of the National School of the Sacred Heart;

Marseille Mardochee, the Coordinator of the local branch of OPL, denounced several cases of irregularities in various voting centers where supporters of PHTK impose their law preventing people to fulfill their civic duty. The Coordinator of OPL even speaks of "grabbing of polling stations";

Acao Rilnor, supervisor of MOPOD, was severely hit by the agents of the UDMO to the voting center National School of the Sacred Heart of downtown. He was arrested and then released thanks to the intervention of the population. According to Acao, access to the voting center of the National School of the Sacred Heart was banned to representatives of MOPOD by officers of the UDMO and CEP security officers... There are no MOPOD representative in this Centre.
