Haiti - Elections : Jean Henry Céant launches his campaign

Several thousands of people took part Friday in Fleuriau - Tabarre in the official launch of the electoral campaign of the candidate to the presidency Me Jean Henry Céant (Renmen Ayiti).

The candidate has observed a minute of silence in memory of those who died in the epidemic now raging in the Artibonite region before giving excerpts of his government program, which aims, inter alia: improving living conditions of the population, mentoring of young people and improving living conditions of women and peasants.

He insisted that the thousands of participants joins together today had not been paid, a thinly veiled allusion on the campaign launch of the Candidate Jude Celestin (INITE). He accused the head of state trying to impose a President, in order to take the post of prime minister and then make available to run for the presidency again.
