Visit to the artisans of the village of Noailles

Thursday, a delegation led by Stéphanie Balmir Villderouin, Minister of Tourism and Creative Industries composed especially of the Secretary of State for Tourism, Ms. Jessy Menos and Pascale Théard, Responsible of the workshop "Pascale Theard Creations", visited the village of Noailles (Croix-des-Bouquets) to meet the artisans of the village and encourage them in their works.

Tastes and flavors Lakay 2015 stopped in the Hotel School

Wednesday, together with the management of the Hotel School of Haiti (EHH), the organizers of the sixth edition of the culinary festival "Taste and flavors Lakay 2015" presented a seminar for school students.

Also, Friday evening at the Karibe Convention Center, took place the 4th cocktail competition. On a musical background with the formation Akoustik, a public with a fine palate savored and voted for the best cocktail based on our national Rum Barbancourt.

6th edition of the Fair binational ecotourism...

The 6th edition of the Binational Fair ecotourism and production will take place from November 7 to 15 2015, in Comendador, near Belladère on the Haitian-Dominican border. This fair will be an opportunity for residents of two border towns to showcase their natural and cultural heritage, increase productive capacity and create jobs and generate income for residents.

According to the organizers this Fair will also harmonize relations between the two neighboring peoples, encouraging a better mutual understanding and economic exchanges, inter-institutional and cultural.

New Departmental Office of the Ministry of Culture...
