As we approach the elections of October 25, 2015, the President Michel Martelly issued a short message to the Nation, recalling the importance of voting.

Message from the President of the Republic :

"The election is not the case of one person or a group of people. The election is everyone's business.

Haitian people, the changes you are looking for you, for your family, for your country it is with your ballot you'll find them.

This October 25, it is necessary that everyone go and vote because elections are the cornerstone of democracy [...] farmers, vodouisants, artisans, students, industrialists, merchants, officials and other... those who work and those who do not work, October 25 is the day for all citizens, to take the road of polling stations to vote in peace, order and discipline.

Let's vote !"
