Haiti - Elections : Election Observation Mission of the CARICOM

The Caribbean Community (CARICOM), of which Haiti is a member, sent this week, an Election Observation Mission in Haiti for the first round of the Presidential Elections and the second round of the Legislative Elections which will take place on 25 October 2015.

This mission led by the Dr. Steve Surujbally, the Chairman of the Guyana Elections Commission. It will comprise eleven members, including election officials from CARICOM Member States and experienced election observers, along with two representatives of the CARICOM Secretariat who will also provide administrative and logistical support.

CARICOM Member States :

Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, Montserrat, Saint Lucia, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago.
