20 demonstrations in 7 days...

Since the publication of partial preliminary results, from November 5 until 12 November, 20 of the 45 observers of the Citizen Observatory for Institutionalizing Democracy (OCID) have noted 20 street demonstrations related to elections in the communes of their assignment District.

Claims associated with these 20 demonstrations :

- Denunciation of handling of the minutes (X8);

- Complaint of expulsion from the electoral race, of the candidate Jovenel Moïse (X 4);

- Denunciation of ballot stuffing (X4);

- Release of supporters of party Pitit Dessalines arrested (X4).

Fanmi Lavalas announces two new demonstration days

On Monday, the Fanmi Lavalas party announced two new demonstration days Wednesday 18 and Friday, November 20 in the capital to demand respect the popular vote. Dr. Schiller A.
