Forum for women candidates

The Provisional Electoral Council with the support of United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and other partners including the Ministry for the Status of Women and Women's Rights conducted a dialogue with women leaders around a "Forum for women candidates in the elections of December 27, 2015 in Haiti - Feminine Leadership" on the sidelines of the holding of elections in Haiti.

Clarens Renois is worried

Continuation of the mobilization of G8

The aftermath of the manifestation of November 18, G8 members have unanimously called for the continuation of the mobilization of the streets until further notice. Also they condemn with the utmost severity the violence exercised by units of the PNH, while they were at the CEP in Petion-ville. Me. Samuel Madistin of MOPOD indicated "This is a dangerous drift exposing the PNH to the disrepute of the population in favor of undeclared interests. We demand that the police put an end to the acts of repression."
